Advanced Exhaust Solutions is seeking a Fabrication Lead to support and guide our fabrication team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is hands-on and focused on ensuring production runs safely, efficiently, and meets quality standards.

Available Shifts

• 1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Salary: $31.00-$36.00 per hour

Location: Northfield (relocating to Lakeville in the near future)

·        High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or associate degree in welding, fabrication, manufacturing, or a related field preferred.

·        5+ years of experiencein a fabrication or manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

·        Strong knowledge of fabrication techniques, metal working, welding, and CNC operations.

·        Familiarity with blueprint reading, CAD drawings, and precision measuring tools.

·        Technical Knowledge: Expertise in metal fabrication techniques, materials, and industry best practices.

·        Leadership & Team Management: Ability to lead, train, and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.

·        Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to identify production challenges and implement solutions.

·        Organizational Skills: Capability to coordinate schedules, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.

·        Communication: Clear and effective communication skills for interacting with employees,management, and cross-functional teams.

Physical Requirements

·        Ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods.

·        Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

·        Frequent use of fabrication tools, welding equipment, and machinery.

Team Supervision &Leadership:

o   Directly oversee the fabrication team, ensuringadherence to production schedules and quality standards.

o   Assign tasks, monitor progress, and providesupport to team members.

o   Conduct performance evaluations and provideconstructive feedback.

Process Improvement& Efficiency:

o   Identify areas for process optimization andimplement improvements to enhance productivity.

o   Reduce waste and downtime by implementing leanmanufacturing principles.

o   Collaborate with engineering and productionteams to refine fabrication techniques.

Quality Assurance &Compliance:

o   Ensure all fabricated components meet companyand industry quality standards.

o   Conduct inspections and testing to verifyproduct integrity.

o   Maintain compliance with company safetypolicies, OSHA regulations, and industry best practices.

Training &Workforce Development:

o   Train new employees on fabrication techniques,machinery operation, and safety procedures.

o   Provide ongoing coaching and professionaldevelopment opportunities to improve team skills.

o   Foster a culture of accountability andcontinuous learning.

Resource &Equipment Management:

o   Oversee material usage and inventory to minimizewaste and shortages.

o   Ensure fabrication machinery and equipment areproperly maintained and serviced.

o   Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teamsto ensure availability of necessary materials.
